* Games will be played on Sunday afternoons at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 & 4:00

* Girls will use the 13-foot foul line.  Although the 15 foot line is painted on the floor, only the 13 foot line will be considered for a violation.  Only 3 players will be permitted on either side of the key   during a foul shot

* During the regular season, each girl is to receive equal playing time during the game.  In the first half of each regular season game, the 5 players starting the first quarter must play the entire quarter.  If a team has all 10 players present, the coach must then place his remaining 5 players in the game for the entire second quarter.  In the event all a team's players are not present, the coach must equally substitute the remaining players in the second quarter.  Substitution during the second half of all games is at the discretion of the coach.  However, each girl is to receive as equal an amount of playing time as possible during each game.

* During the regular season a player's playing time is subject to review by the league director(s).  At the discretion of the director(s) a player who has been overplayed in a game may be assessed a similar playing time penalty to be assessed the next game the player competes in.  If the game is played during the last week of the regular season, said penalty may be carried over into the next applicable tournament game.  Any affected coach will be notified before any penalty is assessed.

* Teams are limited to a maximum of one practice for a maximum of 2 hours per week .  Scrimmage games count towards practice time.  No practices may be held in the Williamstown Elementary School gymnasium.

* Games will consist of (4) 5-minute quarters with an 5-minute halftime.  In the event of a tie game at the end of regulation, there will be one 3-minute overtime period commencing with a jump ball.  If the score remains tied after the overtime period, the 5 players from each team who started the overtime period (even if one or more of those players have fouled out of the game) will each shoot 1 foul shot, with the teams shooting in alternating fashion.  The team making the most foul shots shall be declared the winner of the game.  This process will repeat itself until a winner is declared.  The foul shooting period will not apply to tournament games.  Those games will have repeated 3-minute quarters until a winner is declared.

* Teams must have 5 players present to begin the game.  If not, it is at the discretion of the affected coaches as to whether or not to go ahead and play the game.  However, the team not having enough players to begin the game will still forfeit the contest.

* Bonus free throw will begin on the seventh team foul of the half.  All fouls will result in two free throws on and after the tenth team foul of the half.

* Games will be played with only one jump ball at the beginning of the game.  Control of the ball for tie-ups and the beginning of each quarter will be alternated using the arrow on the scorer's table.

* No full court press is allowed during the first half.  Pressing full court will be allowed during the second half.  The mid-court line will serve as the press line in the first half.  A lead of 20 points or more at any point of the game eliminates the right to press for both teams.  If a lead reduces from 20 or above to 10 points or less, the press can resume for both teams.

* Each team may have (2) 60-second timeouts and (2) 30-second timeouts per game.  One additional 60-second timeout will be awarded to each team for each overtime period.  The official book will be kept at the scorer's table.

* Any player ejected from a game by the referees will automatically be ineligible for the following week's game.  This rule will also apply to any tournament game.

* Official regulation rules will be followed except those which have been specifically mentioned above.  Officials have control of the game and coaches are expected to have proper bench conduct and control of themselves and their players.  Ejection of a player from a game will prevent them from participating in their next scheduled game.

* All disputes will be addressed to the league director, Marty Seufer.  He will confer with the other league directors.  Their ruling is final.
